Write to [email protected]. A person reads it, usually within a couple of working days. There is no ticket system to fight and no bot in front of it.

Three things make an answer much faster: your macOS version, the app version (Limits Monitor → About), and what the app said at the moment it went wrong — the banner text is usually enough to identify the cause on its own.

Common cases

“The CLI’s token has expired”

Claude Code’s tokens last about eight hours. Run claude once in a terminal to refresh it; monitoring resumes on its own, without restarting the app.

The Keychain prompt was declined

macOS only asks once, and the app cannot ask again on its own — but the banner has an Ask again button that re-issues the request. If you would rather grant it manually: Keychain Access → Claude Code-credentials → Access Control → add Limits Monitor. The app asks for read-only access to that one item and nothing else.

The first launch is slow

That is the one-time index of the logs you already have. On a real 2.5 GB history — 721 files, 48,860 records — the first pass took about 310 seconds. Every scan after it takes roughly half a second, because files that have not changed are skipped without being read. Leave it running once and it never happens again.

The number stopped moving

That is deliberate. When a reading cannot be confirmed the app demotes it — dashed ring, the time of the last successful read, the countdown paused — instead of showing a fresh-looking zero. Use Retry in the banner. If the banner names an outage on Anthropic’s side, the wait is theirs, not yours.

No notifications at 80 % or 95 %

Check System Settings → Notifications → Limits Monitor. Each warning fires at most once per limit window, by design: the same 80 % session warning will not repeat until that session window resets.

No history or cost figures

Those come from your local logs, which are optional. Grant read access to ~/.claude in the app’s settings and both appear. Live quota monitoring works without it.

Trying it without Claude Code

Demo mode runs the whole interface on sample data. Every screen is labelled as demo while you are in it, including the inspector, so a demo number can never be mistaken for a real one.

Requirements

macOS 14 or newer, the Claude Code CLI, and a Claude Pro or Max plan. The app reads the limits of the plan you already have; it cannot raise a limit, extend one, or provide access to Claude by itself.

Your data, if you want it gone

There is nothing of yours on our side to delete — the app has no account and no server. Deleting the app removes its local database. Access can be revoked independently at any time: Keychain Access for the credential, System Settings → Privacy & Security → Files and Folders for the log folder. The details are on the privacy page.

Reporting a bug, or asking for a feature

Both go to the same address. Bug reports are most useful with the exact banner text and what you were doing; feature requests are most useful with the problem behind them, not just the proposed solution.
